Steve Furness

Born and raised in England, Steve graduated from the University of Bournemouth with a degree in business administration and a focus on tourism. Subsequent industry-related certificates include both senior management and guest service training programs at Johnson & Wales.

Steve began his career with the company in 1995, working in a variety of positions with increasing management responsibility, and today serves as the vice president of operations. He is responsible for the day-to-day hotel operations of the 10 upper-premium and luxury ships that Apollo services for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. He also manages Apollo’s partnership with Virgin Voyages. Additionally, Steve is responsible for the global human resources, fleet administration, and risk management departments.
