Jose Ramon Barrera

After relocating from Spain, Jose joined the Apollo Group in 1999 following in the footsteps of his uncle, owner and founder Rafael A. Ordoñe. After 11 years with the company, he was appointed to his current position of President and CEO.

With a unique global perspective and make-it-happen attitude, Jose has been primarily responsible for the diversification and international expansion of the Group, with a leading role in the creation and start-up of Barcelona Europe Supply SL, Freight Solutions, and Apollo Global catering. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Oviedo (Spain), an M.B.A. from Florida International University, and an M.S. in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University. He is also licensed as a C.P.A. in the State of Florida.
