Eric Barale Named Worldwide Branding Professional Of The Year In Culinary Direction

Senior Culinary Director of the Apollo Group Recognized for Professional Accomplishments

MIAMI, June 19, 2015 — Eric Barale, senior culinary director of The Apollo Group, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for his professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities and excellence in culinary direction. An invitation-only organization, Worldwide Branding honors a select group of distinguished members in various disciplines each year.

With more than 25 years experience in the culinary industry, of which 12 have been with Apollo, Toulouse, France-born, Barale’s expertise includes fine cuisine, business administration and restaurant management. Currently, Barale provides culinary direction for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas, in addition to overseeing the development of menus, employee assessments and training, along with inventory and staffing for The Apollo Group.

Prior to joining Oceania Cruises in 2003, during which time he helped launch culinary programs for numerous ships on the Oceania roster, Barale was an executive chef at Silversea Cruises. In previous experiences, he steadily progressed in his trade by working in famous restaurants and luxury hotels in France, Switzerland, Monaco and Italy, and spent time working at Hotel Concorde La Fayette.

A member of the prestigious Maîtres Cuisiniers of France, Barale holds a variety of top culinary diplomas, including a master chef diploma from the Chamber of Metiers.
